Meet Miss Ariel. She is 4 months young American Staffordshire Terrier/Rottweiler cross whose interests include cuddling, jumping, exploring, running, romping and chewing. She loves having toys to play with, so her new home will need to provide her with her own toys, bones, playtime, and some training to keep her mind and body healthy. She loves all kinds of water play A LOT and chasing games. This sweet girl is almost leashed trained, has some basic commands down, she gets along well with people and most dogs. She likes to sleep with her human.
She has a mild prey drive and is curious about cats so she will need more practice with this. Ariel likes to cuddle with you or lay down with you, wherever you may be or whatever you may be doing. She is a sweet and curious dog who wants to explore the world. She is young and willful which means she will need a strong leader.
Ariel will be happiest when she can be a part of her person's daily activities. Her family will need to be sure that Ariel feels like she is part of a close-knit group. She will need to be spayed, micro chipped, vaccinations complete, licensed in August and has a complete health workup. Miss Ariel is still growing her fur on her body from the neglect she was rescued from and some physical scars may still remain from her abuse. Especially her head. Dr seems to think she will grow into some of her scars. We have found lamb, duck and salmon work well for her or many of the limited ingredient foods. She will go home with her new family with all her medical records and DNA test results.
Are you looking to add an energetic, beautiful, active, smart, loving girl to your family? What about a social companion ready for any adventure with you? Come see Miss Ariel! She is available for adoption through the Miss Gabriel Foundation.
