Mr Dawson

Chihuahua/Rottweiler cross

Meet Mr Dawson. He is 6 months young Terrier mix whose interests include cuddling, jumping, exploring, running and romping. He loves having toys to play with, so his new home will need to provide him with his own toys, bones, playtime, and some training to keep his mind and body healthy. He loves chase and hand wrestling games. This sweet boy is leashed trained, has basic commands down, he gets along well with people and dogs. He likes to sleep with his human.

He has a low prey drive and is curious about cats but not enough to say hi to them yet. Dawson likes to cuddle with you or lay down with you, wherever you may be or whatever you may be doing. He is a sweet and curious dog who wants to explore the world.

Dawson will be happiest when he can be a part of his person's daily activities. His family will need to be sure that Dawson feels like he is part of a close knit group. He will be neutered, micro chipped, vaccinated, licensed and a complete health workup during his recovery. Mr Dawson is still growing his fur on his body from the neglect he was rescued from. We have found lamb, duck and salmon work well for him or many of the limited ingredient foods. He will go home with his new family with all his medical records and DNA test results.
